sylvia zet wee stamp digi print card...silver fairy

Good evening, tonight I have a card with a beautiful digi stamp by Sylvia Zet from wee stamps called Silver Fairy. You can get the image here ...you will be seeing more of her images as I couldn't resist or stop at one!!! I coloured her up with prismas (of course) and plenty of stickles. The card is cut using my grand spellbinders scallop circle and the nesting circles, I have hand cut using an assortment of cups and plates. The doily is cut from a Cheery Lynn die called "english tea party". the flowers are wild orchid crafts the sentiment stamp is from a clear Kaisercraft set called "friendship sentiments". thanks for stopping by....... XOX Tania

PS DONT FORGET TO LEAVE A COMMENT FOR MY BLOG CANDY YOU DONT NEED TO BE A FOLLOWER

TOP TIP....I STRUGGLED TO GET THE INTRICATE DETAIL CUT OUT FROM THE CHEERY LYNN AND MARIANNE DIES.....I TRIED WAX PAPER, AND AN ASSORTMENT OF OTHER THINGS...THE BEST WAY GET THE CUT OUT OFF THE DIE IN ONE PIECE IS TO USE BLUE TACK...I ROLL THE BLUE TACK IN MY HANDS TO REDUCE SOME OF THE TACKINESS STARTING FROM THE EDGE- JUST PRESS ONTO THE PAPER AND CAREFULLY PULL AWAY.
I am entering this card into the following challenges:
Sparkles Forum Challenges: Things with wings
One stitch at a time challenge: anything goes
Top Tip Tuesday: Mystical, Magical and Fantasy
Flutterby Wednesdays: anything with wings
Whimsy Stamps: anything but square

angeliccrafter's 1st birthday candy.. ends 28 Feb

happy birthday to me!!! I survived my first year of blogging. Thought that was good enough reason to offer a little candy.

you do NOT have to follow me (if you just love my blog though- feel free!)
I would like you to post this candy on your blog to let everyone know about it
I would like you to leave a comment (that way I can add your name in the draw)

It will be a very technical drawing of the winner...I will write everyone's name who leaves a comment on piece's of paper and have my kids draw a winner ..... given I have two children, and to prevent fights of who will draw the name out, I guess I will have to offer a surprise 2nd prize!

you get everything in the photo, plus I have some stickles I forgot to add :0) you will get a set of my rubber shims, 6 of my handmade hat pins, stickers, rub ons, rhinestones, a couple of memento dewdrop inks and I popped in a blank card with a "with love" pop up glued inside.

goodluck spread the word, will post worldwide! ends 28 Feb...winner will be drawn on the 29th Feb so as not to disadvantage my overseas visitors.

Round birthday easel card using another fred she said digi image

good evening! Hope you are all keeping well...I am still super excited about my win (can you tell I dont win much??) anywho, heres ANOTHER grand scallop easel card. I have again used a digi image from Fred she Said...I added some dimension magic, stickles and on the stamens, I added some sparkly fluff. The paper I used doesn't have a name/company stamp (some of my paper I have bought over the years from sales...so this one could well be over five years old!) The little flower trinket is off a cheap charm necklace from cosmetics plus. The flowers are, of course, from Wild Orchid Crafts, The white curly wire is from the $2 shop. The sentiment is from Stamp It. thanks for stopping by...Its back to work tomorrow for another week...it just gets in the way of life doesn't it LOL???? so postings will be scarce over the next week. Take Care XOX Tania

You all know Wild Orchid Crafts has a face book page (and if you didnt, you do now, so go and check it out!)....anyway, they had a competion to win some flowers...all you had to do was name them....easy...right???? well there was a whole stack of them, so it wasn't as easy as you would think! any way...I won YAY!!!!!! (I think it was random....but doesnt matter- 'cause I won!!!) so, as per my previous post, I no longer have to mist my white flowers anymore YAY! You have no idea how ecstatic I am :0)

Valentines swing trifold Card + Tutorial

Goodmorning! As promised last night (well very early this morning LOL!) here is the tutorial for the swing trifold card. Start with a piece of card 14cm x 28cm or 5.5" x 11". fold in half then fold the top opening flap in half again. I like to put my design paper on here as it is easier when you cut your swing..... so for my heart paper, I cut three pieces- 2 @ 13.6cm (2 5/8") x 6.7cm ( 5 3/8") and one piece @ 13.6cm (5 3/8") x 13.6 (5 3/8")

To make your swing, choose your desired nestie shape and place it central over the two smaller sections. you are going to cut your swing out of the second section. Place your top clear pad over the second section....NOTE: your die will not be completely covered with your clear shim! Run through your machine as normal.

you will end up with the above

out of your base colour, cut two shapes with the same size die as you did your swing part....one will be glued over the front swing, the other will go on the inside of the to write on (the inside heart should be directly under the swinging section so when the card is closed you wont be able to see it)...you can use alternating nesting die for the top layer in a different design paper.
decorate as you desire...here I have used ribbon, a key charm, flowers from wild orchid crafts and crystal chandeliers also from wild orchid crafts. ... I ran out of large red roses, so misted a cream rose with glimmer mist "red Velvet"
Hope this helps you and is easy enough to follow...have fun experimenting...

I am entering into the "Anything goes" challenge over at Papertake weekly with the addition of hearts

I am proud of myself :0) I have done a trifold swing card tonight with some gorgeous papers. the beautiful "Stroll" by Authentique, adn "Portobello Road- Buddies" by My Mind's Eye. The sentiment is a stamp it rubber stamp which I have masked off the words "best wishes from". The swing part is cut out using spellbinders labels four and the glitter paper is cut using labels four in the grand nesties. The flower is cut with the Tattered Florals die by Tim Holtz. Kaiser brad for the flower centre., some liquid pearls and ribbon and lace and viola! one beautiful card. Keep safe XOX Tania

male card old truck digi stamp

Hello again!!! now I have my grand nesties I am going to bore you to death with circular cards LOL!!! heres another:0) I took on the huge challenge (for me at least) of doing a male / father card. I found this awesome digi stamp from Fred she said and the good thing is that it is available coloured or plain (is that showing my laziness or what????) this is the blue coloured one. I bought lots of other digi's too :0) The rub on sentiment is from Kaisercraft. brads- Kaisercraft, paper is authentique- "stroll" and "explore". 'Til next time take care. XOX Tania

Sarah Kay friendship card

Goodmorning! I hope you are all keeping well...and for the aussies that are being hammered by mother nature, I hope you are safe and DRY! I was soooo excited yesterday when I finally recieved my grand spellbinders...I won a scalloped circle set and a labels four set on ebay for a quarter of the price we pay here...so I was super ecstatic!!!!....so I couldnt wait to use them and did this circle easel card. I have used my all time Sarah Kay favourite "spring is back"..coloured of course with prisma pencils....I am yet to afford copic markers but if I win lotto, my poor prismas will no doubt take a back seat LOL! the paper is new from Arnolds here at Rothwell... Authentique Journey collection called "explore". The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The hat pin is self made. The sentiment is a rub on from KaiserCraft....I wish they would make stamps with these sentiments....even if they are only digi ones 'cause they are absolutely beautiful. For the drops of pearl I have actually used dimensional fabric paint...I find that liquid pearls "pits" a little...perhaps it is our hot humid climate as it is drying??? but it works for me! Thats it from me for now, take care, stay safe XOX Tania
